1. Organisation and scope
VBS Ministries (Vacation Bible School & Christian Education Ministries) is a ministry of SOUTH INDIA BIBLICAL SEMINARY, also known as SIBS Ministries, a registered society bearing registration No. 29/72-73 (Kolar), dated 28 September 1972. The society’s registered office is Post Box 20, Anandagiri, Bangarapet – 563114, Kolar District, Karnataka, India. Our VBS contact office is in Bengaluru at the address below. This policy covers information handled by us through this website and related ordering, support, and ministry administration. Please also read our Terms and Conditions and Cancellations and Refunds Policy.
2. Information we collect
When you register, order materials, request supplies, or contact us, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, account details, church or organisation name, billing and delivery address, state and postal code, order details, payment status and transaction references, and correspondence. Organisation and supply-centre records may include their representatives and contact details.
Our website and service providers may process IP addresses, browser/device information, timestamps, and diagnostic or security logs needed to deliver and protect the service. Please provide only information relevant to your request. If you submit someone else's contact details, ensure you have authority to share them for that purpose.
3. How we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts, verify email addresses, reset passwords, process orders and payments, arrange delivery or collection, coordinate supply requests, provide access to resources where available, issue invoices and receipts, respond to questions, and communicate about your account or order.
We also use necessary records to prevent fraud and misuse, maintain accounts, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Optional promotional communications require an appropriate choice or permission where applicable. You may ask us to stop optional communications without losing necessary order and account messages.
4. Cookies and local storage
The website uses cookies for authentication and browser storage to remember your cart. These help you sign in and retain selected items between visits. Hosting and payment services may use their own security or operational technologies. You can clear browser storage or change your cookie settings, although this may sign you out, clear your cart, or affect checkout.
If we introduce optional analytics or advertising technologies, we will provide any notices and consent controls required by applicable law. This policy does not imply that advertising pixels or session-recording tools are currently installed.
5. Payments
Online payments are handled through Razorpay where enabled. We receive payment status and references needed to verify payments and manage orders. We do not store complete card numbers, CVV codes, UPI PINs, banking passwords, or payment OTPs in our website database. Do not email these details to us. Razorpay and your bank handle payment information under their own notices and terms.
6. Sharing and public listings
Information needed to fulfil an order may be shared with the relevant supply centre, supplier, or delivery provider. Providers supporting hosting, databases, content management, email delivery, payment processing, and technical support may process information necessary for their services. We do not sell or rent personal information.
Supply-centre directories may display contact and location details intended for public enquiries. Contact us if your listing needs correction or if a personal contact should be removed. We may disclose relevant records when required by law or to address fraud, protect safety, or defend legal claims.
7. Retention and protection
We retain information for the purposes described here, including active accounts, order fulfilment, support, accounting, legal record-keeping, and disputes. When no longer needed, information should be deleted or anonymised, subject to lawful retention requirements and reasonable backup cycles.
We use access restrictions, authenticated services, and other reasonable safeguards. No online system can guarantee absolute security. Some technology providers may process information outside India; any such processing must comply with applicable restrictions and safeguards.
8. Your choices and requests
You can contact us to request information about the personal data we handle about you, correct inaccurate details, request deletion where retention is not required, withdraw consent for processing that depends on consent, or raise a privacy grievance. Other rights, including nomination where applicable, are subject to the law in force and relevant exceptions.
We may need to verify your identity or authority using proportionate information before acting. Withdrawal or deletion may prevent us from providing the related optional service, and some transaction records may still need to be retained. We will explain any applicable restriction and respond within the required legal period.
9. Children and ministry content
Our curriculum is intended to support children's learning, but website accounts and purchasing should be managed by adults aged 18 or over. We do not ask children to create shopping accounts or send personal information. Adults should not submit identifiable information or photographs of children without the necessary authority and parental or guardian permission. If you believe a child's information has been shared improperly, contact JAD Samuel so it can be reviewed and addressed.
10. Changes and contact
Changes to this policy will be posted here with an updated date. Additional notice or consent will be provided where required.
